Our projects
CEDRE carries out a wide range of research projects, either independently or in collaboration with partners, on global, European and national scales, to enhance knowledge of accidental water pollution. We conduct studies on the behaviour of pollutants, detection and modelling systems, as well as spill response equipment, in order to respond effectively in the event of an incident.
POSOW I
Production of manuals and training materials to improve spill preparedness in the Mediterranean region
ECOTOX
Contribution to the study of oil-dispersant mixtures on a temperate species, the seabass, Dicentrarchus labrax: application to a cold water species
REMANTAS
Surface-enhanced Raman scattering: a new on-site real-time analysis method for water quality monitoring
DECAPAGE
In-depth characterization of HC-degradation capacities of marine sediment microbial communities: adaptation, metabolic processes and influence of oxygenation regimes
METANE
Development of a modelling tool to study oil behaviour in the event of a deep-sea leak
BLOW OUT
Modelling of subsea natural gas and LNG leaks
IMPOLEST
Development of an operational tool to facilitate crisis management for ecological impact assessment and monitoring in the event of an oil spill in an estuary
HOVERSPILL
Development of a small hovercraft vehicle for fast response at difficult access or ecologically sensitive oiled sites
VALDECO
Practical methodology for quantifying and compensating for environmental damage caused by oil spills
