Our experts are available 24/7 to assist you in any emergency situation in marine or inland waters.
Our action
We provide immediate technical support to ensure a safe response, improve decision-making in emergency situations and mitigate the impact of the spill.

- Remote support during your incident management meetings (video conferencing, coordination meetings)
- Emergency analysis of pollutants in our laboratory
- On-site assistance at the command centre or in the field, if the situation requires it

- ICE (Intervention in Chemical Transport Emergencies) scheme focal point for France
- MAR-ICE (Marine Intervention in Chemical Emergencies) service single contact point in Europe

CEDRE supports authorities and local stakeholders in their spill response preparedness efforts.
Our teams provide their expertise by:
- Assisting with the development and updating of contingency plans (maritime, shoreline, inland waters, etc.)
- Carrying out response readiness assessments for municipalities, ports or facilities and conducting risk assessments
Training
As part of its public service mission, CEDRE organises and runs numerous training courses each year, including practical sessions, on responding to spills of oil, chemicals and plastic pellets:
- At sea and on the shoreline
- In ports
- In inland waters
We also offer bespoke training sessions, organised at the site of your choice. Our training courses can be run face-to-face or online, depending on your needs. They are accredited by the Nautical Institute and comply with IMO standards.
