The Tour de France Maritime stops over in Brest

On 9 July, for its fifth stage, the Tour de France Maritime, organised by the French Maritime Cluster, came to Brest where it brought together key players from the maritime sector to discuss the major challenges facing the blue economy.

CEDRE took part in a panel session on maritime issues and organised a tour of its facilities for participants. This was the opportunity to present our missions, research activities and expertise in spill preparedness and response.

This event was also the chance to promote the work carried out by CEDRE to support the decarbonisation of maritime transport and to enhance knowledge and safety in relation to the use of new shipping fuels.
