On January 21 and 22, Cedre was in Rennes for the Carrefour des Gestions Locales de l'Eau (CGLE), an event that brought together 19,000 participants and 650 exhibitors working in the water sector.
On this occasion, Cedre, the Loire-Bretagne Water Agency, OiEau, Nantes Métropole, and Initiatives for the Future of Great Rivers (IAGF) participated in a conference on "how to combat plastic pollution in waterways?".
This session provided an opportunity to recall the context and review the state of plastic pollution in the environment, present the REGARD Network, and discuss actions implemented to support local authorities in reducing macrolitter passing through urban water systems.
The "PLA’STOP" awareness initiative, led by IAGF, was also highlighted, along with the "Zero Plastic Pollution Territory" action plan spearheaded by Nantes Métropole.
