IMO Level 2 training course in Tanger Med Port

From 8 to 11 June, two CEDRE engineers ran a new IMO Level 2 training course at the Tanger Med Port, on oil spill management in ports.
Organised in collaboration with Tanger Med Engineering (TME) and the Tanger Med Port Authority, this session was attended by thirteen participants from the port authorities of Tanger Med, Nador West Med, Marsa Maroc as well as the oil industry.
This training course aimed to enhance the trainees’ operational skills and to promote coordination between the various stakeholders involved in marine spill preparedness and response. In addition to improving technical skills, this course highlights the importance of cooperation between port authorities, operators and industry in strengthening the joint capability to respond to marine pollution and contribute to environmental protection.
