IMO 2 training in Guadeloupe

CEDRE organised an IMO Level 2 training course on port pollution management, in collaboration with EDF Trading Logistics. The course was run at EDF’s Pointe Jarry power station in Guadeloupe.

The course was attended by 12 representatives of 4SA, Petroservices, MEI Services and TSM, as well as the Harbour Master's Office of Pointe-à-Pitre Port.

The agenda focused on strengthening participants’ operational skills in spill response in ports, through theory classes and practical sessions. The participants had the chance to practise deploying a containment boom and setting up a recovery chain.
