CEDRE Strategy Committee meeting in Marseille

On 3 and 4 June, the members of the CEDRE Strategy Committee met in Marseille for a two-day session devoted to the challenges of spill response.

During this session, FOST (Fast Oil Spill Team) presented its spill response missions and equipment to the Committee. The members also visited the Marseille Naval Fire Battalion’s training centre CETIS where they were given a tour of the training facilities, simulators and operational spill response equipment.

This two-day agenda came to a close with the Strategy Committee meeting, held at the headquarters of the Marseille Naval Fire Battalion.
