Assessing a bubble barrier system

In August, CEDRE tested the capabilities for installing a bubble barrier in channels in the Guérande area. The aim of these tests was to validate the possibility of deploying the recovery chain from a vessel of opportunity, and to assess the effectiveness of this system. The spill was simulated with rice husks. These tests were conducted with support from FOST and PNE POLMAR Terre.
