SaferSEA project: meeting in Cork

On 20 and 21 May, CEDRE took part in the INTERREG SaferSEA project partners meeting and study visit to several Irish maritime centres. This meeting, held in Cork and hosted by the Irish partner AxisBIC, was the opportunity to review the progress of the project as it enters its final stages, as well as to visit several Irish organisations based in Cork:

• a visit to MaREI with a presentation of the Beaufort Building and the LIR National Ocean Test Facility;
• a tour of the facilities of the Port of Cork Company Ltd, as well as a discussion about the port’s future development projects.
