Practical training at CEDRE for our German partners
Published on 21.09.2026
CEDRE hosted in Brest a practical training session on shoreline oil spill response, intended for about twenty participants deployable by the Central Command for Maritime Emergencies (Havariekommando) in the event of pollution on German coasts: firefighters, civil security services, volunteers, etc. Alternating exercises in a natural environment and simulations at CEDRE's facilities, notably using hydrocarbons, the training allowed participants to put into practice various intervention techniques, both in rivers and on the shoreline.
This immersive format concluded with an exercise carried out independently, allowing participants to mobilize the knowledge and techniques acquired throughout the week in an operational situation.
