IBAIA and RAVEN projects: annual meetings and a European workshop on environmental sensors

CEDRE recently organised and hosted the annual meetings of the IBAIA project (2 & 3 March) and the RAVEN project (5 & 6 March). On 4 March, CEDRE organised a workshop entitled “From lab to field: Next-Gen Environmental Sensors”. During this event, researchers, the French authority responsible for implementing public policies, and sensor manufacturers were able to engage with end-users such as firefighters and clearance divers. Meanwhile, end-users were able to share the constraints they face when taking environmental measurements for water and air quality monitoring, in relation to either chronic or accidental contamination. The discussions and experiences shared helped to highlight users’ needs and provided insights for the development of environmental sensors.
