CEDRE trains oil spill response stakeholders in Sri Lanka

From October 12 to 15, CEDRE conducted a training session in Colombo, Sri Lanka, organized by the Regional Centre for Maritime Studies (RCMS), with the support of the Directorate for Security and Defence Cooperation (DCSD).

Dedicated to combating oil spills at sea and on the coast, it brought together representatives from ten Indian Ocean and Southeast Asian countries.

Combining theoretical input and practical exercises, this training promoted the sharing of experience and the strengthening of skills in preparedness and response to accidental pollution.
