SaferSEA Project: meeting in Cork

On 20 and 21 May, CEDRE took part in the INTERREG SaferSEA project partners’ meeting and visited several Irish maritime centres. This meeting, held in Cork at the premises of the Irish partner AxisBIC, provided an opportunity to review the progress of the project as it enters its final stages, as well as to visit several Irish organisations based in Cork:

•  a visit to the MaREI Centre, including a presentation of the Beaufort Building and the LIR National Ocean Test Facility;
•  a tour of the Port of Cork Company Ltd’s facilities, as well as a discussion regarding the port’s future development plans.
