Governance
CEDRE is a national centre of expertise on accidental pollution in marine and freshwater environments.
Entrusted with a public service mission of general interest, CEDRE is supported by a Board of Governors and a Strategy Committee, comprising representatives of France’s General Secretariat for Maritime Affairs, several ministries, public institutions, local authorities as well as industry.
This governance dovetails the needs of public authorities with those of the oil, chemical and maritime industries.
