IMO 2 training in Guadeloupe

CEDRE organised an IMO Level 2 training course on port pollution management, in collaboration with EDF Trading Logistics. The course took place at the EDF power station site in Pointe Jarry, Guadeloupe.

The session brought together teams from 4SA, Petroservices, MEI Services and TSM, as well as representatives from the port authority and the Harbour Master’s Office of the Grand Port Maritime de Pointe-à-Pitre.

The programme focused on strengthening operational skills to address port pollution risks, through theoretical input and practical scenarios. Participants were able to practise deploying an oil boom and setting up a recovery chain.
