ICES Annual Science Conference 2026
The 2026 ICES Annual Science Conference will be held in Brest from September 15 to 18, 2026, at Le Quartz – Scène nationale.
Each year, this international event brings together scientists and experts in marine sciences to present research advances, share knowledge, and foster collaboration on issues related to marine ecosystems.
The program for this year’s conference will address several major themes championed by ICES, including:
ecosystem science;
the impacts of human activities on the marine environment;
emerging technologies;
the conservation and sustainable management of marine resources.
As part of this conference, a tour of CEDRE will be organized for participants. This visit will provide an opportunity to showcase CEDRE’s activities, its technical and scientific capabilities, and its role in the prevention, preparedness, and management of accidental pollution.
Through this tour, participants will be able to learn about CEDRE’s missions and discuss scientific and operational challenges related to the protection of the marine environment with its teams.
